About Your Presenters:
Jodie Grant
Building on Social Work foundations, Jodie is a highly skilled, seasoned and knowledgeable Dispute Resolution Practitioner. Over twenty years ago, since commencing work in the Family Law field, Jodie has simultaneously held clinical practice and Education and Professional Development training roles, leading and supporting professional best practice in Family Dispute Resolution, Mediation, Restorative Engagement/Practices and Supervision.
Since 2014, Jodie has valued the opportunity of working in Restorative Justice with those experiencing abuse/victims of abuse, as a specialist Restorative Engagement Facilitator for the Defence Abuse Response Taskforce (currently the Commonwealth Ombudsman – DEFENCE) and over the past several years offering Direct Personal responses under the National Redress Schemes for those who experienced Abuse and harm in Institutions. Jodie has run over 50 of these cases. She is passionate about continuing this work and introducing these restorative engagement concepts into other Dispute Resolution (ADR) areas.
Jodie is registered and accredited as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) under the Attorney General’s Department and a Nationally Accredited Mediator under the Mediator Standards Board. Currently Jodie is currently a director of the Mediator Standards Board.
Samantha Hardy
Dr Samantha Hardy is the principal of Conflict Coaching International, and the Director and Lead Trainer for CCI Academy. She is an experienced mediator and conflict coach and the founder of the REAL Conflict Coaching System™. She provides conflict support to managers and leaders across the world. She also provides professional development training, supervision and mentorship to mediators and coaches who work with clients in conflict.
Sam has been accredited as a mediator under the Australian National Mediation Accreditation System and is a Certified Transformative Mediator by the US Institute of Conflict Transformation. She is a Certified Narrative Coach. In 2021 Sam was awarded the Australian Resolution Institute Award for Service to Dispute Resolution for her leadership and innovation in the field. She was also awarded 2022 Conflict Coach of the Year at the Australian Dispute Resolution Awards.
